To obtain an eTA, you must have a passport, an e-mail address and a credit card to complete the online application.

When applying, you will need to provide biographical data such as name, date and place of birth, gender, marital status, address, nationality and passport number. You will also need to answer a few questions about your background to determine if you can enter Canada. For example, you will be asked about your current job and how much money you have to visit Canada, and if you have any health problems.
